What areas do you serve?
St Peters, St Charles, O'Fallon, Wentzville, Chesterfield, Kirkwood, and the towns in between, roughly a 25-mile radius from St Peters, out to Wright City in the west and Kirkwood in the east. We also cover Lake St Louis, Cottleville, Weldon Spring, Ballwin, Maryland Heights, and Creve Coeur. If you're near the edge of that ring, call anyway and we'll let you know.
What cleaning method do you use?
Hot water extraction, usually called steam cleaning. It injects hot water and a cleaning solution into the carpet and then pulls it back out along with the dirt that has worked its way down into the fibers and backing, rather than just cleaning the surface.
How do I get a price?
Describe the job by phone or through the form and we'll give you a clear price before we schedule anything. Pricing depends on the size of the job and the condition of the carpet, so the price we quote is the price you pay unless the job turns out to be different than described, which we'll talk through with you first.
How long does carpet take to dry?
With hot water extraction, carpet is usually damp for a few hours and dry within roughly six to twelve hours, depending on the airflow in your home and the humidity that day. Upholstery is often faster. We'll tell you what to expect for your specific job.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Apex Carpet Cleaning is licensed and carries insurance on every job. We're owner-run and based in the St Peters area.
What are your business hours?
Monday through Friday 9 to 5, and Saturday 9 to 4. For commercial jobs we'll work outside those hours when a job needs it, so we can clean an office while it's closed.
What if a carpet or stain can't be saved?
We'll tell you. Cleaning removes a lot of dirt and many stains, but it can't restore fibers that are worn out or reverse some set-in stains. If your carpet is in that situation, we'd rather say so than take your money for a clean that won't deliver.
