What sanitizing adds
Sanitizing is an additional treatment we can apply after cleaning carpet or upholstery. A standard hot water extraction clean already removes a large amount of the dirt, allergens, and residue held in the carpet. Sanitizing adds a further treatment step for situations where you want extra attention paid, applied according to the product's directions.
It is most often asked for after illness in the home, after a pet problem, in a rental or office where you do not know the full history of the carpet, or simply when a customer wants the extra step for their own peace of mind. It is always an add-on to a clean, not a replacement for one, because the treatment works best on carpet that has already had the soil extracted from it.
