Upholstery cleaning

Upholstery cleaning covers the furniture that sees the most contact in your home: sofas and sectionals, armchairs and recliners, dining chairs, and other upholstered pieces. We use hot water extraction, the same core method as our carpet cleaning, adjusted for the fabric so it lifts body oils, spills, and everyday grime out of the material rather than driving them deeper.

Different fabrics need different handling. A durable synthetic microfiber takes a different approach than a delicate or natural-fiber piece, and some fabrics are marked as clean-with-solvent-only. We check the fabric before we start and match the method to it, and if a piece is not a candidate for wet cleaning, we will tell you that instead of risking damage.

• The cushions look darker where people sit: that is absorbed body oil and soil, and it is what extraction is built to remove.
• A spill or stain you could not get out yourself: often treatable, and we will tell you honestly if it is set permanently.
• A smell coming from the couch: frequently a pet or spill soaked into the cushion; cleaning gets at the source, not just the surface.
